Establishing doctrine for advanced combat training and developing a scientific education and training system
Develop training doctrine to cope with future wars efficiently.
As the core of the future Army doctrine,「Multi-Area Simultaneous Integration Operation with the concept of Army TIGER」 will be developed for substantial level of combat performance.
Reflecting on recent incidents and the use of advanced weapons, equipment and logistics, the Army focuses on developing descriptive methods and procedures for the standing forces' combat execution on all interconnecting levels.
The Army will also develop doctrine on Joint and Combined Operations as well as on support programs to protect citizens from non-military threats.
Establish a high-tech training system that provides a realistic training environment.
The Army will establish and education and training strategy to guide Army development of academic education, training troops and officers. The resulting training system will prepare individuals and troops with highly developed combat capabilities in ground warfare.
Academic education will be performed on-line by constructing a digitized education system and Metaverse environments in school for applying a personalized education system, and also expanding to the integrated education of joint studies education in all branches of service to build multi-tasking elite forces.
With constant combat readiness as its aim, force training will focus mainly on combat duties. The Army will develop a training model to exercise 「Multi-Area Simultaneous Integration Operation with the concept of Army TIGER」 by utilizing advanced science and technology, and build a Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) training system in which the Army-from soldiers to commanding officers and staffs-train under various battle conditions. Cyber soldiers in virtual battlefields, company-level Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement Simulation (MILES) training, and scientific combat training of infantry regiments and mechanized units will support training under battle conditions, building offensive combat forces.Leader development will be centered on a sustainable, self-development open- learning system for preparation of elite officers with the professionalism and competitiveness that both the nation and the Army require in the future.
Scientific training equipment, environment-friendly teaching materials and ammunitions, regional training facilities, and automated training support systems will be developed to provide a full environment for efficient and effective training.
